I’ve read Jackie’s canning column in the magazine for years and she stresses food safety (unlike some other magazine columnists I’ve read), but isn’t afraid to can things that aren’t included in the Ball canning books. If you haven’t canned before (or have, but just went on passed down instructions), you might want to check this one out.
